[edit] Introduction:

The fighter is the most physically powerful class in the game. They are able to wield a variety of weapons each helping the fighter to accomplish a specific objective e.g. Tank a boss or deal more damage. Fighters have the most powerful amour of any class and are well suited to be in the middle of a battle.

[edit] Weapons

See the Items Database.

See the Weapons Guide (non-database format).

- 1 Handed Swords - Allows the use of a shield and has the most aim and best attack speed. Must have for any tanker
- 2 Handed Swords - The in-between weapon. Has good damage, attack speed, critical and aim. The best all-round weapon
- 2 Handed Axes - Best weapon for pure damage although it is rather slow. Must have for any damage dealer

See the Skills Database.

See the Skills Guide (non-database format).

Until level 20, fighters have a very good set of core skills, many of them serving the fighter well even in later levels. The best example of this is Snearing Kick, this is the skill fighters' use to keep aggro of mobs to stop them attacking other people.

[edit] Fighter Training

Level 1 to 4: Roumen/Forest of Tides. Kill slimes, mushrooms, imps, and speedy slimes.

Level 5 to 6: Forest of Tides, and slime kq. Slime kq should get you to about lvl 10 or something around there the first time you do it.

Level 7 to 9: Continue doing slime kq, you should still be getting up at lease 2 lvls each time. Out of slime kq you should do quests and kill blue crabs, crabs, slow slimes, etc. Quests aren't as important at this lvl, but later they are.

Level 10 to 13: Do slime kq, by now you should have a pretty big part, and get to do all the action. quests, and kill hobs, those wolf things right by the hobs, and those big ugly green fairies that I cannot remember the name of, they were like mini greeners, or something like that.

Level 14 to 16: Keep doing slime kq, I know it gets boring sometimes, but by now you should be able to be the tank if you have good def. Quests, and train on ratmen and boars. By the way always do kqs, when you aren't in kqs do quests, and when there are no good quests, or if you just want to mob or grind with a friend train on the monsters.

Level 17 to 19: Now you can do mara kq. This is probably one of the best kqs ever. Unlike the slime kq the clerics can revive, so you don't have to lose hears when you die, and since the clerics just learned revive they're eager to revive dead people. In the later kqs clerics don't like to revive, sometimes in robo when I'm dead a cleric comes by and dances on my dead body, and then walks off. So in mara you barely ever lose, and you get good exp, so make sure to do this one as much as possible. other than that keep doing quests of course. now you should be training on the maras at sand beach.

Level 20 to 25: You can do gold hill now. so do mara and gold hill, so pretty much you should be doing a kq at all times. But kqs get boring, so keep doing quests and train on kebbings and grave robbers at luminous stone.

Level 26 to 29: Gold hill kq. Quests, and train on skeletons and stuff in luminous stone, or train at moonlight tomb on bats and spiders.

Level 30 to 32: Gold hill, by now you should be tanking... Or not. Quests, Train on archons at sand hill, or those wild wolves at sand hill.

Level 33 to 36: ROBO KQ, Remember to always do the quests for the kqs. At robo the final quest gives like 100,000 exp. =D. Quests, Train on Baby Werebears at sand hill, or at lvl 30 abyss, just make sure not to get pked.

Level 37 to 40: Currently I am a lvl 37, so if this section is a little off don't blame me. I estamated, and asked some friends. Do robo kq. Quests, and Train at lvl 30 abyss, just don't get pked. When lvl 30 abyss gets too easy train at the collapsed prison, and train on the things there.

(OR from Level 20 do Iyzel Tower until level 43. You can level up 1 level per quest from the Tower of Iyzel)

[edit] Fighter Tactics:

This section can be split into 2, Solo and Party but different builds of fighters will have different rolls in the party.

Solo

Fighters are well suited to soloing, their high defense and good damage dealing means that they can go up to any mob at their level and fight it, even if it will cost them a couple of potions. Fighters come unstuck however when they come up against a group of mobs, they could run straight in but they might have problems when it comes to healing back the damage they're taking. However they have a special skill, that was once thought only useful for parties, that solves this issue. That skill is snearing kick. Snearing kick is a slightly ranged skill which means it can be used to pull 1 mob at a time towards them, solo it, then bring out the next one.

Partying

There are 2 main types of fighters in a party. The main tank who is usually 1 Hand sword with shield (and possible full end) who will take the aggro of all the mobs that you encounter. The other is the Damage fighter/Reserve Tank. The reserve tank serves an important purpose, if there is a mob moving towards the other members of the party, it is your job attract the mobs away.
